Volunteers Needed

Do you have a green thumb?  Do you like to work with plants?  Volunteers are needed to help tend the plants in and around the building.  Please sign up on the bulletin board if you can help or contact Kathy Matthies 320-253-7874.

Sunday Morning Coffee and Fellowship

The Church Council has asked the Fellowship Committee to have the responsibility to ensure that coffee will be served every Sunday between services.  We will continue to use the sign-up sheets on the bulletin board across from the office.  Funds collected will be given to the group serving for the ministry they are supporting.  This is a great opportunity for your group to raise funds for the ministry you are supporting.  For more information contact Sally Reichert 253-2932.

Atonement Book Club

The Atonement Book Club meets at 5:30 PM the third Monday of every month.

For more information about the Atonement Book Club call Debbie at 203-7643.

Looking for Blood Donors

This is a BIG request for Atonement members to donate blood to the Red Cross Bloodmobile on September 6th from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Atonement. Just one generous gift of blood can help save several lives.  Call LouAnn Garner 320-252-1555 for an appointment.  Walk-ins are welcome.

Volunteer Help Wanted at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore

Habitat for Humanity is looking for people that can volunteer once a week for a 4-hour shift at their thrift store called the ReStore.  All the product in the store is construction or home improvement materials, and is donated by the public.  The product is then sold to the public at a discount.  The proceeds of the store support the mission of Central MN Habitat for Humanity in building affordable homes for low-income families.  Volunteers do roles such as cashiering, helping customers shop, screening donated product, riding on the truck to assist with scheduled pick ups, organizing, and cleaning.  If you’re interested in volunteering or want more information, contact Travis Kucala, ReStore Manager, at 320-492-5479,, or visit their website at

Prayer Beads

Prayer beads have been around for centuries.  They can be used for prayer and relaxation. Prayer beads help with praying, paying homage to God, stress, or to chase away negative energy.  We will be making prayer beads that Pastor John Duane can give people they visit.  Please join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.  Donations of cash, beads or old beaded necklaces are welcome!  Anyone can join at any time!
