Why
|
- The need exists. As Christians we have a mandate to
serve the poor. (Matthew 25:40)
- Provide an access/entry point for the underserved
into the health care system
- Create holistic geographic community (breaking down
the barriers of isolation)
- Give where you live
- Maximize health care resources through prevention,
education, and early diagnosis

How

Utilize resources from faith-based organizations
(churches), CentraCare Health Foundation, St. Cloud
Hospital, community service sites, government
- Churches provide volunteer medical teams on a
rotating basis
- CentraCare Health Foundation provides funding
- St. Cloud Hospital provides medical supplies
- Coordinator provided by a VISTA from the
community
- Endorsed by the Stearns-Benton County Medical
Society
